They did do something the first few days when she took over! I drove through there yesterday and the tents are coming back and the open air drug market is already back.

They cleaned where I live too and the blackheads keep coming back but for the first time ever I've seen the cops come back too. I hope the new Mayor keeps doing good work.

We have this in Portland and Seattle. Vegas they moved underground. I admit it’s hard to deal with because the people are totally crazy, or very nearly there. A lot don’t know where they are at in anycase.

I've seen a big change since the new Mayor took over. I hope it keeps up. One thing that never gets talked about is how lazy cops are and how much they ignore crime. Lately I've actually seen them doing work for the first time in like a decade. Keep it up and make these lazy cops actually work.

I agree! The laziest are ladies police offices they do not want to react on anything just counting the clock to go home - I hope that Police chief gets this information.

If you never been here and don’t understand what’s going on then don’t speak on it, you should be asking questions not making assumptions if you don’t know something. Get rid of drugs by incarcerating drug dealers for good just throw away the keys and set an example and you'll see how others think twice before selling drugs again addicts will seek help or move to another state and youll get rid of many problems like theft drug wars addicts homelessness and much more

Silly fools if you think its going to clean up, i grew up in NP, I remember when it was a thriving retail area clean as can be, however that memory is long gone, so what's going to happen to the poor addicts that multiple infestation of diseased skin and open untreated wounds 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

Let's see if the mayor follows her big words with big action along kensington Ave. Norris Square once a beautiful neighborhood park and library has been destroyed by the democrat policy of enabling junkies.The SEPTA Elevated Line which is also littered with used hyperdermic needles and drug addicts living on the trains. They are at Somerset Station, Allegheny Station, and Tioga station 24-7.

Too late. That's what happened the first few days of the 'clean up'. They were given clothes,food,a new tent and put on buses and dropped off in the far northeast. Add that to the list of things the tax payers know nothing about. I moved out of PA a few years ago but still pay attention to Philly news. It's the same ole story almost everywhere. Here in Texas we have our own battle going on that's being mostly ignored by the Fed Govt.
