Philadelphia Zoo Spring 2024 ~ Walk Around & Welcome the NEW BABY!

Join Mighty Mike & K on Easter Sunday as they explore the Philadelphia Zoo, America's first zoo! Spring is in full bloom on the grounds of America's oldest zoo located in the historic Fairmount Park section of Philly. There are beautiful spring flowers on display and the animals are very active because the weather is cooler this time of year.
Two big highlights are the birth of a white-handed gibbon ape which is native to Southeast Asia and is endangered and the arrival of Marcy a 3-year old female snow leopard with hopes she will help continue to grow this vulnerable species.

You mentioned not being able to bring your bottle of water in. Can you clarify that? I'm planning a trip there and haven't seen anything posted on their website about not being able to do that.

We saw a sign outside the zoo entrance that said no water bottles or outside drinks permitted. This may have been an after Covid thing (policy). They do have an area with several food trucks. I would call and ask. You’re correct the website doesn’t mention it at all. Have fun on your next trip!😊
