Not a Philly fan, never been a Philly fan, but I have absolutely loved these videos. Amazing production, incredible insight from Torts and the rest of the group. Really hope this continues into the season. Even if things are rough W/L wise, the insight from this team and Torts would be amazing to watch

It’s going to be a process. It’s an uphill battle against teams with high end talent who have played together for years in the same system. We got pluggers who are new together in a new system. Its basic math here and it will take time.

Torts is impressive. He's honest, and he has, admittedly, changed somewhat and mellowed over the years. I like that they are just getting to work and blocking out all the crap in media. Just play, and let players develop. Flyers will not be pushovers this season.

Huge Sabres fan from Buffalo born and bred. I've always said I hate the Flyers more than any team in sports other than the Astros. But I've always loved Torts. Started with watching a post game with him against a win against the Panthers on 10/27. Went down the rabbit hole and watched all 4 Standards. Really cool stuff. Also cool to see Briere in there as well. Can't believe I'm typing this, but good luck this year with Torts and Risto. Also Piss Off. Cheers from Buffalo. 🍻🍻

Torts is right; just play the kids. What do they have to lose? They are going to be bad this year. It's not like giving zamula some opportunities is going to kill any chance at winning a cup or something. See what he can do. You gotta know if there are any prospects worth a shit. If there aren't, then you know you need to get picks at the trade deadline for this deep draft.

The fact that they got rid of Hextall, someone that was truly building a team, to Fletcher, someone that blew his wad on an okay offensive D man instead of going all in on Johnny Hockey, who wanted to play for Philly his whole life, is crazy. They keep getting new coaches, new goalies, but they need to get better goalie coaches, and a better GM. Philly needed to grab a big point producer. There were plenty up for grabs. They went after a D man........ Sure, they brought Braun back which is great, but that doesn't help much. Then they sign some AHL goalie as their main backup, and he looks the worst out of all of the goalies in preseason. They are shooting themselves. I think they might be bombing on purpose this season to see if they can nap this kid that's supposed to be huge next draft. Connor Bedard, I think his name is. He's supposed to be a generational talent. Maybe they'll get lucky. Who knows with The Flyers. Shit, they might end up winning The Cup because everyone is new. None of the other teams' players know who they are or how they play. Very doubtful, but with The Flyers, you never know what's going to happen. Like in 2010 when they only made the playoffs because they won a shootout in the last game of the season..... then went down 3-0 vs Boston, only to force game 7, then go down, and have a comeback that game too and go on to The Finals where they lost in game 6 in OT. They were a goal a win away from a Cup with a team that wasn't anything that looked like a playoff team and there backup goalie played almost all of it (who wasn't very good).

Very dramatic. Let's see how they're doing 10, 20 games into the season.

Flyers are the Blue Jackets of the past. Torts can take these average players and make them better under his system. Good coach but they will never win the cup until they acquire real talent. Regular season means nothing. They will be a playoff team and will win a few rounds but then falter.
