Thank You Phil Anderson, Thank You Arland Sanborn... WOW This Is One Monumental Turning.... Quite a big one Phil... This turning was hard on you and I am sorry for that BUT you did quite an impressive job of it all and wonderful entertainment for all your viewers. That carbide seemed to help make life a bit easier? After all your efforts on this 5-day bowl you can now sit back with your ultimate M&M container 😆 Phil it was difficult BUT you are now a much better, stronger, more experienced/skilled wood turner than you were a week ago. ... Until next time Phil... I look forward to all you do... TM

Tuffy is right the bowl is perfect for a giant size bag of M&Ms. What a great way to celebrate a job beautifully done. Off to Costco for supplies and then just sit back and admire your work while you ponder, reach out to touch and pinch a chocolate reward. Gr-reat work.😮

@betsy0br Жыл бұрын
@@tuffymartinez I like the peanut filled ones so I think the bowl would work well. If there was still room I could just add another package . . . the large bags sold at Costco. I’m a quilter so Phil’s filled bowl would keep me happy, especially when M&Ms melt in my mouth and not in my hands. It’s important to keep the fabric clean, no one wants a messy quilt.

Well that was sure worth watching because of its sheer size. You are wonderfully entertaining with your running commentary keeping us totally in the picture at all times. Five days was a heck of a commitment on your part & might I say, you did a fantastic job of editing it down. You have a style & presentation that is uniquely Phil Anderson & please don't ever try to change it. Thanks to your perseverance & skill this is a magnificent bowl & worthy of all the praise being expressed by all who admire your work. Your commitment to retaining as much bark & natural elements in each piece is highlighted in your skill in patching up all the missing pieces of bark & work with the angle grinder to achieve your final result. Great piece of work & great finish too, especially considering it is Pine & not noted as a high quality wood for finishing. Stay well my friend, Don from South Aust.

Hi Phil Waaaou. Big turn. The bark on the edge, looks like an eagle in flight, with wings spread out. Pretty. Pretty. Pretty. Way to stick with it Phil! I think it came out beautifully. We used to have a trailer on a piece of property when the kids were little. It was on a lake in the middle of a pine forest. Not only did the forest smell amazing in the hot summer sun but the trees shed bits of their bark and they looked like a busted up jigsaw puzzle laying on the ground. The kids loved picking them up. Morning Phil, That was a big lump of Pine. I really do love the end result as ever. I have a video in a couple of weeks that might interest you and bring back memories of this one. Great video as always. Take care my friend. Cheers, Huw

That's a beautiful bowl. It looked shallower on lathe almost like a custom bird bath but the hole killed that thought great to see you doing your craft. Good night Great Job Phil I missed watching you make beautiful pieces of art
