Ok…… New to Daru, I’m a trainer, we have a ton of learning overlap so I’m already a fan. I gotta say, when people talk about morning routines and what not, I’m normally turned off…. But something about this is fucking motivating. So much so I’m hopping off KZbin and reading a book. ( I do tons of learning on KZbin but my stack of books is similar to yours and it ain’t gettin smaller ). Keep doing what you do Daru!

Yo coach I am on week three of your fight ready conditioning program during these COVID times and in the beginning I judged on how easy it looks, but dude it is kicking my ass! (In a good way) I used to do heavy lifting all the time with sprints for my MMA training, but it would fry my brain up. Entering your program, I tried lifting heavy with the rep ranges, and failed. I read the fight ready pdf on how to approach the program, and let down my pride and put down the poundages on the exercises. What I realized with your training program; Yes I am lifting lighter to reach the recommended higher rep ranges, but I am feeling energized during my day job AND my Grappling and Striking sessions. I am even stronger and explosive with me movements, single leg and double legging even the veterans!!! I ain’t tapping the veterans out, but man am I getting dominant positions in all angles. I’m giving higher belts a run for their money, and I am sparring better than ever. I would note that in just three weeks, I am MOVING efficiently. I am so hyped to be at the 3 month mark! But I got to be patient. Also, many people are asking if I am getting into bodybuilding 😂. I was 145 lbs before starting, now I am at 150 lbs. I love your program, and what I love the most is the corrective exercises. I am in love because I feel stronger in the knees and have the confidence to move without fearing injuries. I trust the process and I can’t wait on what I will become after completing all phases of your program! Thanks coach. Best money I spent.

You can tell this man loves what he does and these men and women are lucky to have such a great coach! Keep it up my man! Got one question about sleep though: I know you can't say "You need X hours of sleep every day" because it differs from person to person. But can you tell if there's a minimal amount of time someone needs to sleep in order NOT to negatively affect your regeneration? I've been getting 3-4 hours of sleep a night lately and sometimes I feel like im more vurnable for injuries than before when I slept like 7-8h a night. This leads me to the video: I really enjoyed you being followed by the camera through the different steps. It gives us a different perspective. Also I think I need to adapt the planning and preparing part in order to use my time more efficiently. This would mean I get more sleep :)
@PhilDaruStrong
@PhilDaruStrong 4 жыл бұрын
Deen kay I appreciate that.. I do believe a minimum of 5 hours is sufficient for everyone now with that being said I’m no sleep expert but from personal experience I do well in 5-6 hours nothing more nothing less.

4:30 is insane but I also don’t have a 90 minute drive or kids to get back to lol. I do follow a similar schedule. Wake up 6:30, study my Bible, get my work in at the gym, then get all my work out the way (I work at home for myself), go and spar/roll which starts at 11, after that I spend about 3-4 hours with the wife, maybe do a little work if need be, then go spar/roll some more, come home, chill out then go to bed
