When I was a teen we used to go to Baja California over Christmas Break. My mom would school me about the differences in the way women and girls a treated in Mexico compared to America. These are so different that just letting anyone across the border without out them knowing how to treat women and girls in the US is criminal.

It's not that they need education on how to treat women properly - they know how to do that already! The reality is that, while the vast majority of South American men treat women well and would never abuse, let alone murder one, there are some real psychopaths out there. There are psychopaths and abusers is EVERY society, in EVERY country. The point is that we need to close the border NOW. Anyone coming into the USA needs to be properly vetted to make absolutely sure that they aren't one of the bad few. If the psychopath murderer in this case was "educated" on how to treat women he would have passed top of the class... and then he would still go on to do horrific things. Letting everyone in without checks guarantees this outcome. The only way to keep people North of the border safe is to filter out the bad ones, and that means no more open border.

I am so sorry this lovely woman lost her daughter.. she seems so incredibly sweet I can just imagine her daughter being that amazing. I want to say , although dogs can take a lot of work and time, having at least one large dog with you on trails.. even if they’re very familiar trails, can deter monsters from picking you. In ca our trails and parks and forests are littered with transients who are doped up and illegals. I have protection and my rescue dog with me always. Even in the most familiar areas. Please do not let your guard down and be prepared. And rescue a big dog. My girl gives me confidence to walk in the darkest alleys knowing she has my back. It’s not a 100% safety measure but bet this monster wouldn’t pick her if she had a large dog with her.

I almost lost my life in 1990 in an auto/tractor accident. An Illegal was not only wasn’t supposed to be here, but he was driving a tractor on a dark country road with no lights or reflectors. It wasn’t a street tractor. We slammed right into it. It wasn’t visible till the last second. I legs got pinned under the dashboard and my face was severed by the passenger side door. My liver, kidneys and many other organs were severed. All my teeth were broke or knocked out. My jaw was broke in 3 places. My right leg was broke. Lost all muscle and hot major scar tissue on my right shoulder. Had to have reconstructive surgery on my face. I had internal bleeding, and so much more. I was flown by helicopter to a trauma center. They brought me back to life on the operating table. Was in the hospital for 4 months. Had my jaws wired shut which couldn’t be undone to eat for 6 months. Had to eat nothing but grinded food or liquids. Was in a half body cast for months.it was horrible. My parents sued the farming company, but I’m not sure what happened to the illegal alien. Hopefully he was deported for life.
