He was born in Wales and when he was young his family emigrated to Canada. He currently lives in the US in Los Angeles

@@1AnitrasDance perhaps he was born in that rather hard to pronounce city? I can pronounce it quite well as a niece lived there for a few years. Now back here in Oz. Other Welsh place names are definitely hard to decipher and the locals must roll their eyes at the attempts to mash up the names.
