Danny Weis is one of the rare and gifted that don't wear out as the years go by. The edge just gets sharper.

How cool is this. The legendary Rhinoceros playing at the Kitchener Blues Fest. Stiil sounding as funky as ever. Lets put another record out boys, there's a lot of us out there that would really appreciate it, Arthur Thomas

Yes, great band and one of my favorites. The "experts" have been critical of Satin Chickens for years, but it such a great album that doesn't get the respect it deserves. Those tracks sound great at the Festival. I've enjoyed these videos for years, thanks for osting.

This is the best of the tracks that are posted here. There is a moment right around 3:20 where they hunker down into this burning urn of churning funk groove that was their trademark. Just a big lumbering groove that would sweep away anything in its path. . . . gotta love it. . . . would slay to here the version of I Need Love they did that night. . . . . Still play that track on the first album and it just knocks me out. .

I don't mind stating, when I heard them, I wept. What a killer show. I knew they were getting back together as Alan had told me of the challenges regarding orchestrating the reunion. I can only hope to hear more from the boys. Bring this act to Norway!

Still remember how star-struck we were when we were in the basement practicing and Michael Fonfara came walking down the stairs. Our keyboard player's Mom had taught Michael to play piano. She obviously did a great job!

This is amazing.Saw them in philly ('68 or '69).I think they may have opened for Blood Sweat and Tears. They were amazingly soulful, fat and funky.I'v been a fan ever since.John Finley still sounds great.
