I love hearing personal little stories like this, as much as it makes me want to cry too haha. Even though I never got to personally meet him, I just know from these stories and through interviews I've watched that he truly was an absolutely wonderful, down to earth and kind person. His loss feels like I lost a family member, every once in awhile it just hits me hard and I have to cry. But it puts me at ease to think that he's up there rocking away with Paul and that he's finally at peace. Rest in power, you legend. ❤

god damn it, it must be painful to no longer be part of slipknot and go home to see all great moments in your career hung up on the walls, we can never know what really happened between him and the band so lets not assume and blame the band because it could only ever be an assumption based on ignorance, but my heart goes out to him, we will have probably gone through things like being together with a romantic partner for several years, you grow very close and attached to each other, and it eventually comes to an end against your will because of an apparent incompatibility and you live to see yourself replaced by someone else, there is nothing more agonizing for the soul.

If you think about it, he probably doesn't. I mean yeah, he got kicked out of slipknot (Or whatever happened... Its been about a year and to my knowledge nothing has been said...) but those are legendary achievements (Golden and platinum records) and awesome stuff to look at. It was also a major part of his life. If it was me, I know I wouldn't. But who knows? Maybe he does and I am completely off... :)

Sucks knowing that only one member of Slipknot visited him in the hospital even though they all saw him in pain on the 2013 tour and knew he was having medical issues,.... then they fire him via email a few months later while he's still recovering. Didn't even have a band meeting with him to address their concerns. Personally, I haven't gave a single fu*k for that band since then. Joey is Slipknot and without him it's just a greedy group of guys
