Cigars are art in one of its purest forms. The effort it takes to make one is insane. Farmers tending daily, fermenting and aging, blenders painstakingly sifting through different batches of leaf from different countries, rolleros rolling. It amazes me and makes me happy.

I cut "baccer"in Kentucky interesting how we harvested it. we faced a certain direction ( not sure if this was his fobia ) used a tomahawk type hatchett and cut close to the ground, took the stalk and mashed it to the stake. 5 per stake. then we hung the stakes on a tractor pulled wagon ( especially made for baccer hangin )we took them to the the barn and hung them. he said his baccer was sold as type c and would bring in the going price but not a great price.

I'd say that probablt half of the cigar smokers in the world have no idea how much aging time, and actual labor goes into every single cigar. I've been smoking cgars for 40 plus years, and even though i don't care for mild cigars, A Davidoff every once in a great while is nice. I've tried their "stronger, more full bodied blends, but they're still not there for my taste. I've had a bunch of AVO stuff over the last year or three that are mostlu Nicaraguan and those things are the real deal. I believe Kelner makes them as well, the dude he makes Davidoffs.
