I had my first visit to Davidoff London last week. What a wonderful place! I was kindly helped in via a ramp ( I use a wheelchair) and the staff were excellent. They were kind, polite and the young man who helped me and my father had a wealth of knowledge on the subject of cigars. I left a very happy man! I will be back without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you Davidoff London.

@@3-methylindole730 Not to be off putting but for 5-10 cigars I'd say at least £500. A single cigar from there can cost anywhere from £30 to over £60

Was great to briefly meet you outside your store last week, your colleague helped me find the perfect smoke for my evening. Fascinating to hear how the vintage-process bears so much resemblence to my world of guitars, specifically vintage Fender strats, even down to the way you smell them out the box.

Class is what it’s all about. I love antiques and one thing I have loved since I was a kid is vintage tobacco baseball cards and all things tobacco like vintage humidors and silver and gold pocket knives and lighters and tobacco or cig cases made of precious metal. No joke I once bought a old tobacco table humidor with two ashtrays that dangle from each side with a beautiful blue glass ashtray that is lined with copper . I got it for a steel at $42 and turned it over and found to my surprise it was made in Springfield Vermont USA , I am a vermonter and always will be so to find a 100 year old table humidor made from my home state was amazing. The best part about it was it was stuffed with old black silverware black with age and under 2 full sets of sterling flatware i found a 1969 gmt Swiss t/25 faded Pepsi bezel rolex which was missing the 18k white gold band and a 1913 shoeless Joe Jackson baseball card which was not a tobacco card but it was in near mint and 8 out of 10 grade mint! The baseball card was a $3000 card one of less then 80 that’s ever been PSA graded and the Tiffany flatwere was 2 full sets I sold for $8,000 and i kept the white gold pocket knife made by esemco co. But I sold the watch on eBay for $10,000 and if it had the missing gold band I would I have got another $5,000 but alas it did not. The old humidor is worth between $750-1,250 which I still have and is now loaded with amazing cigars I cherish. Tobacco and cigars have brought me NOTHNG but Happyness and jot there as fine as any fine wine in my mind and I love a good smoke and one day hope I can make it to the shop, what a dream come true it will be.

This can be a controversial subject amongst cigar makers today as I’ve heard many claim their cigars are not for aging and are ready to be consumed as is. I think Eddie addresses this beautifully in stating not all cigars are to be aged as well as explaining his informative opinions are subjective. His explanation that the character changes that take place over time are subtle and not always discernible to those whose palate may lack experience in properly aged cigars is key to keep in mind in deciding if you’re going to endeavor properly storing your cigars for decades before lighting them up. His emphasis on the process being done properly for the results he discussed as being essential for noteworthy results is important to know. All around an excellent and informed opinion piece on aging premium cigars. Eddie is a joy and I’m grateful for him and his family. Keep up the exceptional and unique content!❤

It's always a pleasure to listen to Mr. Sahakian as he shares his knowledge. I've discovered many of the benefits to aging (Cuban) cigars more by accident than design. Over time, with my buying rate far exceeding my smoking rate, I now find myself with a substantial number of my cigars at 10+ years of age at the time of writing. The absolute jewel in the crown though, so to speak, are my Bolivar Coronas Extra from April of 1999, without doubt the most wonderful cigar smoking experiences I've ever had, it *still* irks me that such a classic cigar was done away with! I'm convinced also that they have many more years left in them too! I wholly agree that the benefits of aging non-Cuban leaf are far more subtle, the one standout for me has been that the pure strength and frankly, brutality of some Nicaraguan cigars tails off and the smoke becomes a much more rounded and enjoyable experience.
