Gripen E for the Philippine air force. Lowest cost maintenance but highly capable multirole fighter that can also support NATO ammunition. Our country should also learn how to reverse engineer the weapons or aircrafts we buy from other countries. Just like Ukraine. We need to adapt fast especially because of China's growing threat. The information about availability of AIM-120 BVR missiles is not true. USA government did not allowed yet for such integration. This is reason of great rumor in Poland who's FA-50PL is based on Block 20 and is to use radar RXT PhantomStrike. If US gives green light for AIM-120 (may happen in a year or two or never), it will take 3-5 years to do the integration. ...

PAF is buying FA-50 block 20 by next year based on their budget deliberation at Philippine Congress.
