Philippine Airlines Business Class | PR511 | Manila to Singapore | A321NEO

Manila to Singapore on Philippine Airlines' A321NEO Business Class, which is less than two years old. This aircraft was part of six Low-Density Long Range types intended for Sapporo, some Australian destinations, and India initially (before it was postponed.) This time, it's a short 3.5hr regional hop. Apparently, PR511 (MNL-SIN) is Philippine Airlines' first flight of the day and it was interesting to see Terminal 2 practically empty.

Loved the take off vision and the growl of the engines !! Pretty solid short haul flight and they are one of my favourite Asian airlines...mainly due to the great crew! Enjoyed the flight with you as always and enjoy the Lion City !!

@@tongagoncillo4087 PAL did not aquire the LRs that can fly from New York to Paris. However, their 6 A321NEOs are fitted with an additional fuel tank. It's an option offer by Airbus for airlines whether they want one.

Hi Sir, v helpful vid, btw! I'm just curious, are all PAL flights Manila to SIN use A321NEO aircraft? I booked biz class for PR507, but I'm not sure if it's neo or not, the confirmation ticket indicates A321 only.

Hi. PAL currently uses 3 types of A321. The A321neo, A321neo SR, and the A321ceo. You can make out which is which by viewing the seat map when you choose your seats upon making the booking, as all three types have significantly different seat layouts. You can view the seat charts here: www.philippineairlines.com/TravelInformation/BeforeYouFly/PALAircraft/PALAirbusA321-231/SeatMapAirbusA321-231 btw, the easiest indicator for the same type of aircraft as in the video is if the last row of economy is numbered 74 and only on the left side and if there is only one lavatory in the tail end. But of course, after all that, the airline can still change the equipment at the last minute. So luck really plays a big part as well. Good Luck.

Actually mabuhay lounge has improved compare to its past operation. And yes you are right it need more improvement compare to other airport lounge like in Hongkong or Singapore or better the super amazing lounge of Turkey lol.

No need to go outside the country for comparisons. Just compare it to the lounges in Terminal 3 or even the JAL lounge in Terminal 1. Those aren't airline hub lounges but they're already on par or even better than PAL's lounge, and NAIA is PAL's main hub. Let that thought sink in. That's how bad PAL's business management is.
