I hope Philippine Navy choose the VL-MICA NG and increase the MMF AShM from 8 to 16 launchers like the Incheon and I class frigates which are its equavalent size ships.

Lack of budget that is why they will only have the VL MICA not NG but maybe in horizon 3 Frigates they might get the KVLS with quad pack

@Vendell_23 The VL-MICA and KVLS quadpacked are both short range. Good for corvettes not frigates.

Any news about MRF PROJECT??? Those plans of aquiring 40 jets are just all plan?

@PHMalaya Yeah I know, but if they really want the Philippines to protect it's aerial security against foreign aircrafts intrusions they really need those fighter jets to have a power to defend it's aerial security Ang it's states.

I thought that VLS and the ammunition for ciws is included in the contract?
