I always get goosebumps while watching his philippines trip because at the beginning of the video, they said they had to get a private drive to the airport or hotel room and i remember at the EDSA im in the car with my parents and i remember so vividly that there were alot of black cars just passing by and i asked my parents what those are and they said it's probably the president, and they also said in the video that obama was there so this was really interesting that i was actually thAt close to them since they probably droved past my parents car while we were in the road aaaaaa and also i wasnt that updated with ryan before as i am now so i am just surprised and wanted to share! :)

I remember his Philippines trip very well because his event coincided with the APEC summit that was hosted in Manila (hence the "Obama's in town" thing) and a conference that I was scheduled to go to. The conference was affected by the security protocol in place at the time and by the time Ryan's event happened we wouldn't have been in the same conference center if it were not for the APEC summit. Because of the APEC summit, the conference I attended coincided with Ryan's event just on the ground floor of the convention center. I was literally in the same area as Ryan at the time.
