It would be great if Miss Universe 2020 will be held again in Asia. Thailand, Philippines, or South Korea. If it's going to be in the Philippines, a great venue for the finals would be the Philippine Arena, Prelims and National Costume could be in Mall of Asia Arena where it can acommodate huge costumes.

nibbs This year’s venue was the worst in Miss Universe history. The candidates has to walk sideways on the stage and wasn’t able to really show their evening gown. Gone are the days where they have big production on Miss Universe pageant. They even have waterfalls before on the stage. Now you can tell the MUO have a big budget cut. This candidates travelled far and spent a lot of money on their wardrobes only to be treated so cheaply. Probably viewers are down and so are the sponsors. I know for sure in the States nobody cares about beauty pageant anymore.

I am a Filipino, too, but forgive me if I say that I would still choose the PH. If you can check Miss Earth's prepageant activities, there were a lot of travels around the country and contestants are offered with magnificent filipino hospitality. It also happened in MU 16. The contestants travel around luzon visayas and mindanao. Contestants went to ilocos, baguio cebu etc. In thailand, they did a lot of prepageant activities bur if you follow it closely, the prepageant activities in PH were much grander. PH just had it boring in the finals night. But the prepageant activities were unmatched. It will be a staycation for many of the ladies.

Nice collab! 😍❤️ We cannot deny that as to the stage presentation Thailand 🇹🇭 has the best production 😊 and that’s one of the things that other host countries should follow. ☺️✨ Some people are saying that Philippines has poor stage production of Miss Universe, well, for me, it is not the worst, but I do agree that the stage during 2016 of MU where it was the Philippines that was the host country was not that extravagant and for sure it is really not the best production ever, there are some flaws to the production also but do remember that every event has it’s own imperfections, while the stage is not as enormous but the audience is really really full and our country made sure that the ladies were well taken care of (I’m from the Philippines hehe). I remember back then that our local news always give updates regarding where the delegates where in the Philippines so I do get to know that there were many outdoor activities that were given to them, they went to different places in our country and we gave great hospitality to them and maybe they did have a great experience especially because of the people, how warm and welcoming we are. I think what matters more importantly at the end of the day is that the beautiful delegates were treated like queens during their stay in the Philippines (I hope so) and I think they were really well-taken care of ☺️🇵🇭✨❤️

They need to host the pageant in the summer again because it is cold in USA in December. Miami, Hawaii, Los Angeles, even New York City have a lot to offer if given a chance to host Miss Universe. If MUO can't afford to host in other countries, they need to find a bigger venue in the United States NOW for next year and plan up some activities. My top places to host Miss Universe 2020: Miami, USA, Cape Town, South Africa, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a city in Australia or the Philippines.

(plus including the fans who give the girls the excitement and love Siera experienced in Miss Universe 2016) also, the amazing experience that the girls have in both thailand and in the Philippines are incomparable to the ones they would have had there in the states. and this “third world country” also brings in way more money than if it were to be held there in US, in let’s say vegas, miami, or atlanta. so if you really want to talk about economics, the Philippines brings in way more income and profit to MUO itself, rather than there in the states who’s in your own words “richer and more powerful”.

Thailand stage was nice, but the activities behind it was not so nice. In Philippines, candidates were flying by private jets and went to alot more places. The international designers also were involved. The girls were pampered. Anyway, I think if next Ms. Universe will be held in Philippines, they will probably do it in the Philippines Arena which is the biggest in the world. Maybe that time, Ms. Universe Organization just didn't had the budget to get the Philippine Arena, but anyway they spent so much money behind the scenes.

Plus we all know that in Philippines, they flew via private jet and not just some carriers. What's the name of hotels again you put the candidates? Have you been to Manila physically? Have you really been how grandiose the 5 stars hotels here compared to Bangkok? If you have not been in Philippines, I would understand because they only show the sht side of the country. My cousins are Thai and I have been to your country. It's a different scenario in terms of travelling. That is why Scandinavian loves going in Thailand because it's not rocket science to travel around the country and Scandinavian loves easy travelling and staying in one place, I know how they think coz I live in NO. And in case you do not know, the designers involved are internationals, where A-list stars line up to get their Oscar dress, wedding dress, etc. Your stage maybe nice and lightnings but we chose a smaller one really as the next arena will be too big as it is the biggest arena in the world or maybe the organizers ran out of budget to rent the biggest arena in the world.

Thailand!! I’m a Filipino and I think that Philippines is a better host than USA because 1) we’re warm ppl and we’re big pageant fans 2) we have so many tourist spots (beautiful beaches and nature) BUT as much as the stage and production is concerned, I still can’t forget Thailand during Catriona Gray’s reign. The stage, accomodation, events, the small details like the bouquet given to the winners, etc. Everything is perfect!
