I've been visiting SEA countries, for me as Indonesian--- I see Vietnam will be the most advanced (probably will be above Singapore) because their work ethics and economy stability. Unlike Indonesian and Philippines who has a lot of dramas on their political situation-- Vietnam aren't like that (yes there are still corruption but their omnibuslaw is very strict). Thailand on the other hand, also running even though they are lack of natural resources compared to other countries. Malaysia & Brunei are stagnates because of their lack of innovation and relying too much on their Oils.

There has been so many forecast and views in the past that the Philippines will be in great improvement. But we are forgetting that our country is in the Pacific Ring of Fire,, and in entry to Pacific ocean. We have typhoons, earthquakes, volcanoes and other natural calamities. Most of the yearly national budget allotted to infrastructure is disturbed or diverted to calamity fund for rescue and rehabilitation. Think,,, after calamities we start anew, then calamity again and go on and on... It will be very difficult for our nation to be in a stable condition. Resilience is all we have, yet GEOGRAPHICALLY we are challenge. My opinion only.
