I had the same problem with my Philips TV. It is not easy to pull the old IC out and change it with a new one without good equipment. But at the end it all worked out fine. Thank you so far for this good video.

Hi, I have the same TV but 42 inches. The card inside is different and mounts the TNY277PN as the IC. I have the same problem that it turns itself off. Could this IC be faulty?

I have a manual multimeter, i know if its showing 1 that means the measured voltage is higher than the unit i selected but what if it's not showing any voltage while the TV is working? (like 000) is there any way to fix the board (because as i understood that means there is a problem with the power) or that board is already beyond saving?

Have had a similar problem with my 47PFL6007T model. Would shut down randomly and turn on again once in a blue moon, but suddenly one day it would happen once a minute. My 3.3V on the power board stayed on when it shut down, so started thinking there was probably some safety shutdown from the main board. For some weird reason leaving the wifi circuit disconnected from the main board fixed the problem for me. The plug is accessible just by taking off the service panel, 1C31. No idea if it will work for others, but since I haven't seen this "fix" online anywhere, I thought I'd share. I've never used the wifi on the TV, so probably won't bother looking further into fixing the underlying cause. I guess there's still an issue with the board, but disconnecting the wifi was enough to keep it under control.

I have been repairing tv's for a long time now and this is a minor fault, the newer tv's have been designed way beyond this becoming a common problem and are far more difficult to repair these days.
