I think wall mounted tv's with ambilight etc look bad so to speak . The light isnt getting dispersed as good and you can see the ZONES alot more. The tv needs to be atleast 6 or more inches away for better results .

Hi! I have ambilight tv + hue sync on, but during black scenes, hue stays dimmed white, regardless if it is in natural or game mode (btw game mode is needed for tv to let ambilight off during black scenes). Any advice?

Ik heb net een OLED807 gekocht, maar ik neig nu weer naar de 907. De 807 heeft 4-zijdige Ambilight, omdat ik dus las dat een gradient strip (zonder een sync box) niet juist werkt, hij laat maar 1 kleur zien. Maar als ik jouw video zo bekijk, maakt dat echt niks uit. Het ziet er prachtig uit, dus nu neig ik weer terug naar de 907 met 3-zijdige ambilight en plaats er een 'Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus White and Color 2m Basisset'. Waarom heb jij gekozen voor een outdoor strip?

Destijds bestond de gradient lightstrip ook nog niet, maar vroeg me altijd wel af of het zou werken met ambilight. Helaas zijn de philips ambilight modellen vanaf 2023 niet meer compatible met philips hue. Hoop dat mijn tv nog wat jaartjes meegaat 👌

Thanks! It’s funny that u ask, because just 3 weeks ago I changed the wall mount. The TV was too close to the wall. and the ambilight was too bright. Hola! That's correct, I use the outdoor lightstrip 2 meter (everything is in the description of the video) The PLAY gradient only works with the Syncbox, but you can buy the normal gradient lightstrip and connect it to Ambilight with the bridge

Hello! Yes thats correct. The sync box is not worth the money anyways, so i bought the ambilight instead. Works super smooth! But it takes some time and patience to find out how to install the lights in the ambilight settings tho

Head into your TV settings - this is usually found by pressing the home button. 2. Head to Ambilight > Ambilight extension > Ambilight+Hue and select "Configure". This is where you'll setup the connection to the Hue lights. 3. Hit the Start button and your TV will scan for the Hue Bridge. 4. Once the Bridge is detected, you’ll have to select it and you'll be guided through connecting to the Bridge, by pressing the button. 5. You'll then be invited to connect compatible Hue bulbs from the list on the TV. 6. Select the bulbs and they will flash to show they are linked. @@jelly.1899 philips ambilight and philips hue are totally different company’s. Philips ambilight is TVision and they discontinue the ambilight+hue settings. Philips hue is from Signify. The only solution for the future is a sync box with gradient play strip :(

You need a hub indeed, you can add the bridge and lights into the ambilight tv. Max 9 lamps. Doesn’t matter which kind of lamps, all hue lamp works! On the tv/ambilight menu you can set the lights in position
