Align the notch with air vent in nipple. That was the game changer for me. My baby was drinking 80mL for 1hr. He would tire out and leave behind some milk. After I started aligning he would finish 80mL in 15mins and was less colic.

Check the number written on the teat. The holes in the teat is different based on age of the child. Buy the right one for your child. If the holes are more, child can't handle it.

Hi, keep the air vent at the lower lip side. You can check if the vent gets opened while baby Suckles. If not, keep at the upper lip. Basically, the vent shall open as shown in the video.

@@SedivaNL Usually there is a small jet in the beginning because of slightly high pressure inside the bottle due the air compression happening during the tightening of the lid and warm air inside the bottle. After that it is all drops only if you keep the bottle upside down. While The baby Suckles, only he can tell us it is jet or drops. :)

I don't what i m doing wrong. Milk flow stopped during feeding. If i hve to keep the side where no ie 3 or 4 is written on d baby right side or left or front. Plz help

Milk flow stopped means the air intake into the bottle is stopped. If the air path is clear, you will hear a rrr rrr sound from the bottle while the baby drink it. I think you have tightened the lid too much. if the lid is too tight, the airflow will be hampered as the flexible teat will get compressed... also make sure to press the teat at all four sides before the baby stat feeding. it will clear all the air paths. Just turn the lid to about 30 degrees and it should be fine.

It depends on the suckling of the baby. Your baby may choke If you use higher number of holes. Always read the recommended holes on the teats.

You can use boiling water. Also there are electric steam sterilizers available which can handle multiple bottles. These are easy to use.

The bottle can be used as long as you want. The teats shall be changed if it gets worn. Also you need to change the teat when the child grow older, you shall buy teat with more holes depending on age.

Hi, Attach the nipple with the holder first as indicated in the video. Once it is attached to holder, it will be fixed to the holder fully. The attachment of the holder+nipple with the bottle is just a small turn, about 30 degree. The nipple will not lose alignment. I hope you are using "avent natural" type bottle and associated nipple.

After assembling nipple, while attaching to bottle, even with the slightest turn, nipple alignment is getting disturbed. Also, it starts leaking during the feed. It is a brand new Philips avent natural bottle purchased for our 12 days old new born baby. Request advice.....

I guess the nipple is not assembled properly with the holder. Please check if the nipple rotate freely on the holder. It should not rotate If assembled properly with the holder.

Make sure that the teat and tge holder ring are latched properly and the bottles is closed properly. No sugar particles on the bottle, teat and holder. Basically, leaking means excess air going into the bottle while baby Suckles. Hope this helps.

@@maivo8597 hi, as I know, the avent bottles and teats are same worldwide. It is unlikely that yours is different. By the way, avent classic teats will not suit avent natural bottles. Hope you are using "avent natural" and not avent classic.

Hi, the teat may wear out out due to prolonged use, abrasion while washing etc. You can buy teat alone from stores. No need to buy the whole bottle. Remember to buy the right size. The size number is etched on the teat.

Umm this is so amazing and Phillips need to give you a million dollars for this. We gave up on the the Phillips bottles and switched to MAM then Dr. Brown because nothing was coming out from the Avent nipples. With that said my baby loves the nipple of the Phillips Avent bottle compared to Dr. Brown or MAM but nothing comes out. We decided to up the nipple size, but nothing still comes out so we gave up again. Now I know why nothing was coming out. I'm sure Phillips may have lost so many customers as a result. They need to hook you up!

The nipple is standard for all sizes of bottle. Same nipple can be used on small or big bottles. What is important is the number of milk holes at the tip of the nipple. When the child gets older, you shall by nipple with more holes at the tip. This age detail is mentioned at the package of nipple. You can buy nipple separately.

May be they have changed the design. I used it 6 years ago. The concept will be the same. Regarding milk not coming when you hold it upside down, milk will come only if the child suck it. If there is no suction on the nipple, no milk will come out.

if flow is stopped, it may be because air is not getting inside. Press the sides of the teat so that air vent is open. If there is water in the vent, air flow will be blocked. Also make sure the cap is not over tighten. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the video. This is SO FRUSTRATING that the bottle requires such delicate and specific use and there are no instructions included in the box! Tired parents don't have time to watch KZbin videos on this. It should come pre-assembled in the correct orientation and there should be instructions on how to use it. Instead all the insert tells you is to wash the bottles before use (duh).
