Hey, I have a newer model, but the blue light was flashing. Nothing helped. I was just about to have it serviced, but pressing both buttons and plugging it in helped. Thanks a lot!!!

Thanks so much for this. I have a Philips perfect care elite steam generator and the power button just kept blinking rapidly and the iron wouldn't work nor could it be turned off. The buttons on mine are different shapes/colours than the one in your video, but holding down the power and eco buttons before switching the wall plug on did the trick! The rightmost light (descale) light came on and then I was able to switch the machine off and then back on. Thanks again!

Hi! I have your same problem, power light (blue) blinks rapidly inmediatly when I connect it. Tried to push power and eco buttons at the same time before connect it but didnt work. Any other solution? Thanks

@@sergiohidalgo07 I interrogated my wife and now I know she dropped the iron two weeks ago. So possible a wire broken or a part loosen?

@@DirkDijkstra53 Yes, my iron was also dropped down. But tested all electronics and wires and looks good...
