I just got one of these and she’s 100% right. My teeth have never felt this clean from brushing. I was skeptical but it’s really impressive. I’m glad to see you’re had yours for so long. I’ll follow your plan of running the battery all the way down before charging and hopefully mine will last as long. Thanks for the video!

Mine lasted from 2014 to 2021. Finally the handle gave out. I bought the latest version then and it’s working well so far. Love my Diamondclean.

I was given a Philips Sonicare HX9100. Unfortunately the instructions were missing. This is the first video that explained the single button and how to use it. All the other videos showed two buttons. I even looked at some manuals on line and had the same problem. Thank you.

We almost got the one you have but we decided to go with the 100 dollars one. We are going to be getting the one you have though later on down the road. This toothbrush makes you think you have been to the dentist after brushing with this toothbrush. No other toothbrush has ever done that to me. Great toothbrush.

Thank you so much for the review! I am still undecided as to whether to get Philips Sonicare or Oral B, since I've heard conflicting views regarding the longevity of each brand. Newer versions of Philips products might not be as durable as the one you have... Personally, I'm very drawn to the premium look and feel of Sonicare, while Oral B seems to be relatively more affordable and have an additional dimension to its brushing technology. Good to hear your views on your trusty toothbrush!

I had an Oral B for a year and I didn't use it because it was too noisy and I couldn't stand it. I bought the sonicare two weeks ago and it is a pleasure to use.

If your handy you can fix whatever goes wrong with the philips toothbrush (mine has had to have the magnets separated twice) but looking inside it's just a rechargeable double A battery inside soldered (I could be wrong) and some miniature screws you can readjust. If you decide to work on it get some permanent loctite for the screws

Can I charge this tootbrush by putting it in the case, close it and charge for 24 hours using my usb?

I bought 2 some years ago. It was some kind of offer where you got 2 instead of 1. They stopped working almost simultaneously exactly after 2 years. Now I bought the HX6830/47 on Oct 2019. And guess what, yesterday it stopped working. Almost exactly 2 years. I think it is baked in these machines. Once they have sent me a new one. I will try again but probably I will switch to Braun now. Probably the same crap. I never dropped them but I use them under the shower mostly. So during a shower I brush my teeth. So the machine gets wet but I assume this is normal. These 2 machines I bought some years ago I opened up and I could clearly see erosion in both of them inside. So seems water still can come in.

which toothbrush is this in the video? I thought diamondcare had clean, white, gum care, deep clean and sensitive? you mentioned they had a polish mode, but on the amazon link you provide, I don't see that either. Which toothbrush did you get?

Don’t get either… when plastic hits your teeth on occasion the force will weaken and chip them. They don’t caution you. Read how often this happens. Very costly to fix teeth. Last fix $400.

What is up with that ugly glass cup? Do you have to use the cup to charge it or can you put it directly on the base?

@@sophiar6996 I only charge it when it tells me too so most of the time the glass and charging are sitting under my sink until i need to pull it out to charge. That's also where i leave my tooth brush (under the sink in the glass and unplugged charger). If that makes sense :)

Don't wait to charge the battery when it's almost empty neither leave it for hours on the charger after it's fully charged. The best way to make your brush last, charge it after every use and when the green light stops blinking, remove it from the charger, it will take about 35 to 40 minutes.
