Seriously under rated vacuum. More impressive than the suction is the cyclone bin which separates dust from air and makes emptying so much easier. Barely any particles ever make it to the second chamber. My family has had many vacuum cleaners including a Dyson and the worst part of using one is always picking crud out of the dust chamber. I only have the 18v version but even still its suction power is nothing to scoff at. Keeps up with the other 25.6v cleaners around my house easily. Wish this model was more popular so more people would design 3d printed mods for it

"The suction action" shown here, I think can be achieved by any vacuum cleaner with that funnel applied. I am not saying this device does not suck as hard as they are advertising here though :D.

If it's detachable then of course it's replaceable and if it's replaceable then obviously it's detachable.
@nopelandfill
@nopelandfill 2 жыл бұрын
@@SHA-MIM1910 it can be replaceable, just not "user replaceable", this means a power user can replace it, but has to order the part, disassemble it and repair it himself, if its detachable, that means all the user has to do is buy another battery and simply change it
@nopelandfill
@nopelandfill 2 жыл бұрын
@@SHA-MIM1910 from my own experience, philips batteries are soldered inside the vacuum, this means once the batteries die, the vacuum becomes useless!
@nopelandfill
@nopelandfill 2 жыл бұрын
@@SHA-MIM1910 unless you're willing to buy these kinds of batteries and solder them yourself, then yes you can repair it, but I'm lazy, and it also requires some tools that I don't have, so the total cost for all of this plus the time exceeds the cost of the vacuum itself when I bought it used, so I just bought a new one lol

Why philips is so underrated? A lot cheaper and powerful than dyson

That was a big cone. Pressure/surface area. Not really representative of suction power

You know enough to have the impression you know enough. But your comment is wrong and I will not explain you why, you need to figure it out yourself, this way you might learn a bit more physics.
@csllq
@csllq 3 жыл бұрын
@@vladutnea if you do not intend to teach, don't comment. I would love to know why I'm wrong and if I'm wrong I'll be the first to admit it. But saying I need to discover it myself is like saying there is a pearl in the ocean. Go find it. Physics now vast. If your intentions are good, you would explain and guide. Else you are just a troll. Your move.
@vladutnea
@vladutnea 3 жыл бұрын
Using a big cone will increase the surface, but will not change the suction power, will just distribute the force on a higher surface in order to have a safer experiment. That big cone has a bit more flexibility and can create a tighter and safer grip than a smaller and more rigid cone would have. Loosing airtightness in a vacuum system means loosing most of the power, obviously. What you have said is as nonsensical as saying that a water pump's power would be increased just by increasing the diameter of the pipes. That's already too much goodwill from my side... Have a nice day!
@csllq
@csllq 3 жыл бұрын
@@vladutnea Thanks for the explanation. While you have brought up interesting points about flexibility of the cone etc, and absolutely correctly stated that the large cone will not change the suction power BUT distribute it on a larger surface, in the spirit of sharing, I will have to humbly state that your understanding of physics is misguided. Please review how pistons work in their simplest form. A low pressure in a large piston (large surface area....like which is provided by our large cone in this discussion) can provide the same force as a high pressure in a small piston. Formula is, Force = Pressure*Area. Note, as the area increases, the force increases. The pressure need not be increased to achieve this. So an extremely large force is attainable even with a very low pressure, given a sufficiently large area is provided for the low pressure to act on. The same is applicable for negative gauge pressures as well. Even a relatively weak suction force, when distributed over a sufficiently large area, will be able to produce an impressively high holding capability. In these cases, it is basically the atmospheric pressure which will be acting on the outside of the vacuum system pushing against the object. Referring to your water pump's analogy, you are actually correct. The water pump's power would not change, as long as the capacity does not change. As long as the pump capacity remains the same, it does not matter what size header it is discharging into as static head of h*rho*g does not change with pipe diameter. Only fluid density or vertical height the fluid has to overcome affects this calculation.

So people are telling me this vacuum is NOT for wet surfaces, yet here we see her go right over a huge puddle of spillage.
@csllq
@csllq 3 жыл бұрын
Check out wet vacuums on the YT channel Vacuum Wars. True puddle capable vacuums are a pain to keep clean as there are many parts to wash. After a lot of research I decided against a puddle capable wireless vacuum. Also, I could not get a straight answer from the local distributor as to if this was a true HEPA vacuum which is fully sealed (vacuum wars has a great demo for this as well. Its surprising how many vacuums are not fully sealed and dust gets out through the joints). Get a good wireless vacuum (e.g. Tineco S12 Plus) and handle spills separately.
