No it can't be used with cord. There is a 5 min quick charge option. That will be enough for the one full shave.

It's definitely not 100%. Some water gets inside, a few drops

i heard that it gives two versions. one of them has defenitly an aluminum body.

Mg7745 is made out of metal (alu), not sure about the mg7720 which seems like an older model..

I have bought 7000 MG7720-15 - was supposed to be metal as per sellers description- but was plastic Returned for MG7745-15 which is alu and feels very solid!
