I got the Remington Crafter for almost 9 years now and its working like a charm. It's a bit more expensive option from Remington but well worth the money. I honestly think that Remington is one of the best beard trimming equipment brand on the market.

My Remington HC 703 is now 25 years old and the device still works. Just have to fibd out how to sharpen the blades. My parents have a Remington that is even 40 years old...but its blades are self sharpening. They both work as if they are new (except for the blades on mine).

I’m looking at getting a new beard trimmer (I always love to try new grooming stuff if I can) I’ve had the Philips for about 2 years now maybe more. I’m very fussy - I can find the fault in anything 😂 I’ve found the Prestige to be fantastic. Negatives - I do find I need to go over twice for a complete trim. It may not be perfect for longer beards (maybe) but for that stubble 1-5mm it’s been excellent. I can’t remember ever getting tugged or pulled (that’s what she says) even once. It’s been smooth every trim. I would recommend it and I don’t recommend everything. I’m editing this just quickly - everyone today seem to want 1 thing for everything. 1 trimmer that trims a short and long beard perfectly. Sharp lines perfectly. Stray hairs perfectly etc etc - it won’t exist. The best thing I’ve done is be able to find a product for each task. Yes it means buying more than 1 thing - but I mean it’s your face. It’s your facial hair - treat is as best you can (and I have sensitive skin I don’t even use an actual razor anymore) I use the prestige, I use 1 of those 1 blade things for lines/trimming cheeks, I use a single foil shaver for around my nose, a nose trimmers, I have a Braun series 9 foil shaver for getting everything close (everything ear hairs etc) I use a skull shaver on my head. It is a lot - but now that I have all the stuff I use regularly - I just need to maintain them. It’s better than trying and Hoping for 1 product to do everything

@@schumbo8324 Its completely dead now , and the same happened to a braun model i bought as well , died after it ran out of battery the first time , refuses to take a charge , i have to buy a new machine every month just to get a shave
@oliverk1919 ай бұрын
The braun series 7 is a great trimmer. Can be had for a reasonable price and does the job. Battery life is the most important thing, my cheap trimmer takes 16 hours to charge and is very unreliable. Not ideal when it runs out of charge and you are left with a full beard on one side and three day stubble on the other 😂

the best question would be , what does the barber use ?
@petekadenz246614 күн бұрын
Probably whatever you want, but old fashioned ones probably use a safety razor. They offer a smooth, efficient and satisfying shave.

Don’t bother with electric razors - they re not very good and nor are those Fusion -type cartridge razors. Get a safety razor and treat yourself to a smooth efficient shave. A Henson AL 13, for example, or a Twig razor by Leaf, or a Rockwell 6c. There’s a learning curve, but it’s well worth it. Shaving used to be a tedious chore, but since I switched to safety razors it’s been a pleasure to shave. A bit of ‘me time’ and very relaxing.

I'm bald and I can say that Philips will shave my head under 0 better. Remington couldn't do it after three attempts, I had even to use a razor. This is if we are talking about the hair on your head and not your beard.
