Red Sox biggest issue this year is inconsistency on offense. A problem that can be solved with experience, I believe, since they have so many young players on the team. Injuries have cost them some of that veteran leadership for a part of the season so far, but next year I don't think it'll matter. Next year I can see these young players finding their grooves and staying consistent on offense. Their offense is either really good or stagnant.
@shawngallo74307 ай бұрын
@jason Wrong,Biggest issue is they can't f'N field the ball..THE most errors in all of baseball, they're professional players?, throw the leather like you belong there..their lack of fielding discipline will cost them a playoff spot..if I was cora I would give these overpriced bums 2 hours of fielding practice after every game for every error..and run them for every base running gaffe too

Trip to London and now jt realmuto not playing. Shit it didn't take long to see just how much JT realmuto means to our Phillies. Hopefully we can get him back with the team. So he can do all the very very very important things that he does. He studies the other teams players. And him and the pitchers put the game plan together. It didn't take long at all. And the braves saying that they will catch the Phillies. JT realmuto best catcher in baseball.

This Red Sox team can rake. Now if they can stop being hit constantly with the injury bug and find some consistency at the plate, they may have a shot at the playoffs.
@RicoSneako777 ай бұрын
I agree the amount of injuries has just been downright awful. Since we have a lot of guys out we have no choice it to rely on these young guys who are inconsistent but man when they put it together this team is fun to watch. Praying for health and we can make a push for the wild card

this team probably has one of the most inconsistent offenses in the whole league… great win though! Go Sox!
@vjstyle807 ай бұрын
They do and it's mainly because their offense is so inexperienced overall. They have had to rely on first or second year players to solidify the offense around Devers. Next year I can see this team being a contender easily as long as they keep this core of young players together. Which happens to be the same core that got built up over the last 4 off-seasons while many fans complained about the moves they were making. This is a solid foundation for something great
@TruckPuzzles7 ай бұрын
This Sox team has a very young core that's only gunna get better with more playing time. For a team that was supposed to be terrible and been bit by the injury bug, that they're hanging in there at .500 is a great sign.

Well, for sure DIDN'T expect to beat the Phillies in this 3 game series, so kudos the lads. We are so random, either Jekyll or Hyde! I have been shocked at the Phillies coach keeping in Aaron Nola so long.... then their Bullpen came in and completely blew the game! What's going on with the Phillies pitching? I heard 1 or 2 are rested 2 weeks and then expected to start from the gecko COLD (that was in the 2nd game of this series)! Look, we are nowhere near the Evil Empire or the Byrds (ok, Orioles I know).... I see we have a very interesting, exciting team there.... but the lack of concentration in the infield and these bobbles are killing our season. But look, twas an injoyable last two games v the Liberty bellers! Good luck to the Phillies for the rest of the season. One of my favourite teams. I also like Texas Rangers and actually the Orioles. But seriously.... GO RED SOX!

They’re gonna get Casas back - who was one of the better 2nd half hitters in the league last year. Wilyer is back. Liam Hendricks should be joining the bullpen by August. I’m just saying… unbelievably there is a path to the playoffs for this team and it isn’t exactly an impossible feat.
