what a job by the bullpen. and of course Castellanos, who has become pretty much THE clutch hitter on this team. what a homestand too, 5-2 versus the Astros and Braves. A rough week could've had things looking VERY differently for us. if im being picky, I do wanna see the Phillies swinging less at bad pitches. but we're so good, half our lineup can be slumping and we find a way to win! see y'all Tuesday

Rob did a good job managing the bullpen tonight... In fact he's been good the past couple games. Putting guys in there needed to win the game. The last bonehead move was Mercado for Walker vs Houston. Hopefully he keeps making the right decisions. Not saying he should never put in guys like Alverado, Ruiz or Mercado but should put them in when up by multiple runs and still have someone warming up in the pen.

There's always a reason why a team lets someone become a free agent, so I don't think Casty was every a legit 300 hitter. That said, he's CARRIED the Phillies for stretches last year and this year, been surprisingly solid in the field, has never said a bad word about the fans that boo him and his interviews are hilariously blunt. He's easy to root for.
