I bought a used one, and am trying to run water through it on the large cup setting. It only fills on about a quarter of the cup. It will stop and flash the small cup and big cup buttons. If I push the button again, it will pour more water out. Is this normal? I was expecting it to fill the cup to the top

Sounds like the cup sizes might have been reprogrammed by the previous owner. You could look up how to factory reset them and see if that helps.

We bought ours in January and already had to get a new one. Thankfully its still under warranty. We previously had a 15yo nespressoo machine that finally died but we wanted to use the same pods. I have all the tools to fix things, and have a much more expensive espresso setup i maintain, and our nespresso machine has a ton of replacement parts available, but with shipping it wasn’t worth the money. This machine doesn’t have anything available, and there’s no schematic I’ve found on repairs. When I called about the problem they told me to just submit a return slip since its not worth their time either. New machine came in a few days and sent the old one back.

Just wait till you have to descale it. Machine will suck air into line then no longer works. You have to lift the water tank up and push down about a thousand times or more before it might start working again. Couldn’t Phillips use some of the $180 they charge for this to do some R&D and resolve the long standing issue? There are tons of complaints and people have literally thrown away their machines because Phillips doesn’t have staff to help with the issues. SAVE your money, don’t buy, you’ll just have a useless $180 ornament sitting on your counter like we do. Never had this issue with kerig or Nespresso. And yes we had to pull out the old kerig just to have coffee again. DO NOT BUY

@@ErinLawrenceTV it’s not, but there is good news. L’or sent me an immediate replacement when it happened. Not once, but twice. I didn’t have to ship mine back first and wait. When I spoke to their customer service person she said she never descales hers because of the apparent ongoing problem. So use bottled water to keep from causing hard water clogs unless you have a water softener in your homes water system.

@@ErinLawrenceTV it’s happened twice now. They have sent me two replacements and said to not descale it. So good is they are quick to replace it. They send you a new one with a shipping label to return the old one. Comes within 3 days so they do take care of their customers. I would change my don’t buy to buy but don’t descale.

@ErinLawrenceTV Went ahead and got one anyway. Happy with it and both nozzles dispense into most of our cups. The really tiny cups we put 2 under and dispenses just the right amount. My only criticism is you can only really get 5 large empty pods in the collector bin so you have to empty quite often. Thanks.

I bought one of these and I love it! The coffee is very good quality but it doesn't have the versatility of Keurig so I hope they expand into other brands. There are a few other things you should know: 1. It's a little noisy. Not as loud as a hemorrhaging snowblower but a little annoying. 2. The recycling mailers are free but L'or charges $4 shipping for each envelope. I bought a gadget that extracts the grounds which I give to my Gardener friend to enrich the soil. Aluminum is infinitely recyclable so almost any company should be able to handle it. 3. Use filtered water. If it's too hard it will eventually damage the machine. I always flush the machine after every use. 4. The packages usually come in a variety pack of ten each. Some are $30 for thirty capsules in boxes of ten each. 5. They have Peets! 'Nuff said!
