How does this Philips compare to the charge 5 or the flip 6? (in case you've tried them) thanks!

@frandavid8 it's louder and has more bass than both, it's a little under what the jbl extreme 3 can do but definitely better than the flip and charge

I can't never figure out how that works because Allen Ross will tell you a speaker is at 50 hertzs and you can take it down to 32 Hertz on that tester and the speakers are just moving like crazy so I don't know 🤨

Well I think it just depends on if your getting any sound out of it, most speakers will try to play down to 32 herts but only a few actually have any thing audible when they play it

Below the resonance frequency of the PRs, you might be seeing the drivers moving and you might be hearing something, but it's likely mostly distortion. Thankfully our ears are not that sensitive to distortion at low frequencies. But record the sound and run it back through an RTA (like the one in the free REW software) and you'd see it's mostly distortion components.

@Grommet2007 ya this thing isn't really going deeper than 40 hertz and I think the passive radiators are tuned around 45 hertz up to v maybe 55 hertz still good food a speaker this size
