One question...did you have to remove a cover or cross brace under the car to access that Cat bolt? I'm working on my 2016 Rio EX 5-door and I can't get to anything underneath.

@@eldenmathews9167 no, unless you replace the catalytic converter as well. Those need to be broken in and smoke for a couple minutes

What catalytic converter replacement did you use?

Great video sir. I am currently working on my Pontiac G3 2010 and about to change teh catalytic converter and front exhaust pipe and your video is very helpful. Do i need any sort of adhesive or something when replacing the new gasket? I am still a novice at fixing cars.

Hey what codes was the car throwing before you replace this? I have the same exact car and it is giving a p0420 saying catalytic converter and exhaust manifold gasket .. can the exhaust manifold gasket just be the issue causing p0420?

That code means your catalyst is below threshold. Usually your catalytic converter is dirty or needs to be replaced
