The night this aired on HBO, I was at a buddies house and we got high and watched this show. Also on this show was Andrew "Dice" Clay (1st time he did the nursery rhymes bit) Carol Leifer, Lenny Clarke and Bill Hicks (his set was so freaking funny) A couple of the amazing folks are gone. Thank God for video. 🙏

Dom Irrera was voted one of the hundred (#79) funniest comics of all time by Comedy Central. And I agree, but he would have been much higher on the list. They had Bill Maher at #38, and David Letterman at #15, give me a break. Just saying, my opinion, deal with it.

I swear Irrera did a bit about ordering a huge order at a Chinese Restaurant and he had all these weird things like " Moo Goo Gai Pan without the Pan" ... and it was hilarious?? It's NOT the Bob Newhart show about being drunk... I wanna say it was in the late 80s- early 90s when he was on a late night comedy hour on one of the million channels that had comedy then... I love Dom Irrera and just watched the eps of Dr Katz with him on them and there are a ton of things from that show I still say today? Not realizing I got them on that show??? Love Dom thoughts with him and his family as I understand he is having health issues. We used to play the drinking card game "red black" when you picked a red or black card. If you got it wrong you had to drink a beer. If you got it right you could make a rule, like you can only drink with your left hand or had to stand up or say something before you drank. I made up the rule you had to say "I dust busted my proboscis as I ate kielbasa" before taking a drink. Thank you Dom wish you all the best.
