I remember all those guys. Subscribed to Cycle World, which covered racing. Robert E Lee dominated the OKC half mile the summers of '70-'71 as I was there most Saturday nights. Great years to watch flattrack.

All that oil smoke when they got back on the gas in the turns! Guides on those Brit-bikes didn't last too long. So cool to see BSA, Triumph, Norton and HD going at it. Those were the days!
