I live down in Negros Occidental (8 years) and the cornucopia of gorgeous Filipina women simply never stops. Of course I'm reasonably happily married but it doesn't lessen my appreciation.

Again the local government of Olongapo should build wide and well paved sidewalks for the safety of people walking on the street. It is just chaotic in the Philippines because there are no good sidewalks. People, tricycles, cars, animals meet at the middle of the road, so chaotic. Baguio seems to be working on its side walks, much better than any place i Have seen when I visited the Philippines.

I never could figure out why Puerto Galera wasn’t more popular. Mindoro is a fantastic to visit and explore, but Puerto Galera is such an easy and inexpensive getaway from Manila. Mangyan Village, Mangrove Nature Park, island hopping White Beach are all cool spots to visit if you want to just chill out. We love Batangas, but the short getaways to Puerto Galera are some of our best memories.

I've been there half a dozen times over the last decade and absolutely agree with you. White beach is a great location. Sabang isn't pretty but has a certain charm...and is good for the nightlife and floating bars. I could live there...and I'm not a diver.

The real day to days are a great way to get the flavor of what to expect from time to time. That town looks to have good energy and decent builds with easy to reach commercial businesses. We are back in Angeles City. Wanted to suggest a visit to Mangyan Village if not already on your list of things to do. We visited the morning of 2 June and we were the only visitors. A tour guide will escort you around the Village and explain the Village history. Guide can also take to two waterfalls on Village grounds. They sell some really nice handmade items for income.. Stay safe.

Yes I agree .we had many brown outs here in bohol But where I am staying on panglao island the resort where I live has a gigantic back up generator I love it here Makes a big difference But I pay a premium here 🌅🏝️🏝️😅

Cost of running a backup generator. Is it natural gas ? Is it propane? is it gasoline? In comparison to electric rates. We we lost power for 21 days. It was costing me about 40 / day usd for gasoline. With the price of fuel now. Double that number.

B S, yes, I am sick of hearing about the mass shooting man, arming more folks ain't going to solve a damn thing, one thing for sure, getting rid of giving folks semi-auto arms isn't the answer...more police will not stop it, arming teachers either, they will easily be out gunned...throwing more money on law enforcement ain't cutting it...we gotta recognize the disturbed kids very early, classmates gotta dime on them...almost 80% of these murderers were identified earlier by authorities or someone else, however police can't arrest, no crime committed, and others didn't come forward...THIS WILL NOT STOP, however stopping folks from getting these crazy hand on these weapons will save many of our grandkids. Here in san Juan Batangas have brownouts often. I got a 6800 w generator. I am so fed up with this town. Nothing has changed. it is dirty, animal poop everywhere, brownouts, water outs, people with no mufflers racing up and down the road. burning garbage, loud music all hrs of the night. People drive like maniacs, no respect for your neighbors. I never see the pulis, they don't enforce the laws, traffic enforcers are a joke. I told my wife I had enough, I am not coming back. she can come back but I'm not filipinos are the most ignorant people I ever met. You try to educate them on the sanitation and they just laugh at you. I am also fed up with filipinos trying to get me to buy stuff or get involved some pyramid scheme. some times get charged the skin tax.

Thats how it is in any low income area/neighborhood. People are going to do anything they think will make them money, either you move somewhere else or go back to your home country. One of the reasons i dont plan on staying too long here, everything is like a money pit.
