I’m in Michigan, USA. I keep my Brandtianum outdoors in the summer on a covered porch where it thrives, growing roughly 7 large leaves per month. It really slows down during the winter when I have to bring it inside. My suggestion to anyone who has humid summers...put this plant outside. It does best in humid outdoor conditions and this will help it limp along throughout the winter.

I came to this video because I'm in FL and I have a tiny Brandi that I saved from one leaf. She now has several but it's small. The other plants I put outside do amazing so I was wondering if I should put her out and then I read your comment, she is outside now. Wish me luck! They loooove the humidity here, not me so much but well LOL

I just cut it in 3 single leaf cuttings put in spagnum moss in a propagation box, the top with two leaves l put in water and left the original vain with one leaf in its original pot. Fingers crossed 🤞 after watching your amazing video about the Brandianum care mine will also take on soon .

So, I repot my Brandi last week & now she's throwing a tantrum & yellowing leaves (2 are turning coppery-brown now), first time I've repot since I got it last year. It's outside now, under the shade canopy along with it's other philo cousins, hoping in a couple of weeks she decides she's done being dramatic. Thank you for sharing!

Just in case anyone was wondering, from personal experience, my brandtianum went months without getting water over the winter. Like the first time I watered them in 2022 was in the beginning of march and the last time they were watered was before Christmas. They looked the same as they did in the fall. Even a few new leaves popped up. The humidity wasn’t great either so there’s that

I've removed all affected roots (which is all of them) but the root base looks healthy and it has several nodes and aerial roots.
