Lao Tzu - How To Let Go (Taoism)
In this video we will be talking about how to let go from the philosophy of Lao Tzu. Lao Tzu was an ancient Chinese philosopher who is known to be the founder of Taoism and the writer of Taoism’s most sacred text, the Tao Te Ching.
So with that in mind, here are 6 things we need to let go of and more importantly how we can let them go from the wisdom of Lao Tzu-
01. Letting Go Of The Past
02. Letting Go Of The Future
03. Letting Go Of Someone
04. Letting Go Of The Desire to Rush Things
05. Letting Go Of Excess
06. Letting Go Of Your Ego
We hope you enjoyed watching the video and hope this video, how to let go, from the philosophy of Lao Tzu, will help you to simplify your life.
Taoism is a Chinese philosophy attributed to Lao Tzu which contributed to the folk religion of the people primarily in the rural areas of China and became the official religion of the country under the Tang Dynasty. Taoism is therefore both a philosophy and a religion. Taoism teaches to embrace wonder and the joy in living gracefully with style. Lao Tzu was an ancient Chinese philosopher and writer who is known to be the founder of Taoism. He is also credited as the writer of Taoism’s most sacred text, the Tao Te Ching and his words can apply to people all over the world.

Lao Tzu says “Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like”. Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near -Isaiah 55:6 A number of years ago, I read a story about a man who set up a nativity scene on his front lawn, but some vandals came along and stole the baby Jesus. The man was quoted as saying, “They’ve taken my Jesus, and I don’t know where he is.” I thought, “Sir, those people did not take your Jesus. They took a plastic figure, probably with a light bulb inside, that’s a representation of Jesus. But that wasn’t Jesus.” We can’t lose Jesus, but sometimes people lose sight of the real Jesus, especially during the Christmas season. Of course, we have responsibilities, families, and things we need to do, but let’s find ways to share the real message of Christmas. It’s easy to transition a conversation to what the Christmas season is really about: the birth of Jesus Christ. Let’s not allow the busyness of the season to crowd Jesus out of our lives. We need to slow down, listen to the Lord, and stay in close fellowship with Him. Even if you’ve been so busy that you haven’t paid as much attention to Him as you should, He’s patiently waiting for you to return. Jesus walked in our shoes, breathed our air, died our death, and rose from the dead. Is Jesus Christ living inside you? If not, I hope you’ll soon believe in Him. He wants to forgive all your sins. He wants to be the Lord of your life, not just at Christmastime but every day of the year. He’s an everyday Jesus, and He’s here for you right now. Jesus, who was born in Bethlehem, died on the cross, and rose from the dead, is standing at the door of your life and knocking. If you’re not sure that he’s living inside you, will you open the door and ask Him to come in?

@@faith9505 Jesus is not Christ. He never told anyone he is Christ. Jesus actually specifically told us not to believe in or follow the Christ or the false prophets because they are vultures who feed on dead meat, Matt 24:23-28. Christ the Messiah, the Son of God, is not a man but an idea, a concept which when it comes, it comes flashing like lightning from the east (China, India) to the west (Middle East and Europe). Jesus is 500 years younger than Lao Tzu. He is not a Christian nor is he a religious man. He is a Taoist, a Buddha. He loves God and loves his enemies. May the love and the peace of Jesus be with us.

1। letting go of past: let pain be in order to let it go 2। letting go of the future: appreciate what's already there 3। letting go of someone: accepting loss means chance of self growth 4। letting go of the desire to rush things: 'wu wei', take action but progress slowly 5। letting go of excess 6। letting go of your ego

1. The past did not, does not, and will not let go of you. 2. The future will not let go of you. 3. That someone let go of you first. 4. Things happen as they happen. It is not up to you, wei or wu wei regardless. 5. Excess will always be excess regardless of you. 6. You are dead without your ego. Moral of the story is : let be but never let go, never go with the flow. Create your own flow and let others follow you. Make the inevitable inevitable. Sad bc I love him deeply. We were soul brothers. But I suppose the manner in which we lose our loved one doesn’t matter. Whatever the way it hurts our hearts If I can give you any advice I say just speak to your love one all the time - just because they transitioned to another dimension doesn’t mean they’re not here with us - they are I speak to my buddy Mario all the time and let him know how much I miss him and I hope he’s well on his journey wherever that may be right now. Unwanted habits sometimes may be subjective based on individual perception and perspective. There are times that what other deemed to be an unwanted habit is in fact what I need at that point of time. Experience is a big part of life and I don't really believe in following everything blindly to the tee as every individual is different and we are also not robots, I would rather try out everything and go with the flow to learn and define my own experiences. Building up sufficient experiences both good and bad, going through sufficient experiences both up and down in life makes you gain a more complete view about the things around you. When your understanding and view of things are more complete, you are closer to the truth as with each experiences your view and understanding becomes increasingly accurate. I think having a varied experiences offers a broader view about things while also showing you the complexity of things in real life and not everything is black and white which makes you slow to judge as you know that there is more than meet the eyes. It makes you better equip to assist others as you been through it before so you can better understand and relate even though you might not necessarily be able to solve their problem entirely since everyone is different even though we might be going through the same thing.

I doesn't have to be one way or the other. It's about finding your middle ground. What works for you. You can find happiness with less stuff. Less stuff=less worry and less responsibility. If we can learn to live in the here and now,in the moment and not worry about what could happen in the future then all things are possible.i think it's about balance. The universe is about balance. MAGNIFICENT ❤️ Flow with life ✨️Reading or painting 🖼 Here and now. The present. Lao- Tzu. "Gravity is the root of lightness; stillness, the ruler of movement ♥️ Also, To him who holds in his hands(of the invisible,) the whole world repairs. Men resort to him and recieve no hurt, but (find) rest, peace, and the feeling of ease." Who needs 10 cars, multiable homes? One's ego? All things are impermanent. The rivers keep flowing to the seas. Thank you for these videos. ✨️✨️✨️

You can flow with the river for a while, but eventually you must struggle for land or you will be drowned at a waterfall or an ocean. There is no such thing as here and now because the moment you realized something happened, that is already history. There is no future either because tomorrow has not happened and may not happen as far as we can tell. Gravity ??? LOL !!! What is it ? God ? What is God ? What gravity is and what God is are unobservable and unknowable by us humans. Dao De Jing 1.1, Dao that we can described is not the eternal Dao. There is no invisible hand. There is nothing to repair. There is no hurt. There is no rest, peace, or ease. There are only cars, homes, and ego. All things are permanent except our perception. What we perceive is not real. What is real we cannot perceive. We can see, taste, smell, feel an apple or hear the sound the apple made falling to the ground (by the law of gravity, presumably). But we cannot see, taste, smell, touch, or hear the life, the DNA, or the molecules in the apple that made the apple a real apple and not just an image of an apple. What we humans can perceive is just illusions of what is real. May the love and the peace of Jesus be with us.

The house comment could have been written about my late mother in law. One day my husband hit his head on a light fitting and I suggested it was a bit low hanging for the low ceiling. My MIL told me she hated the light fitting (it had belonged to her late MIL) but it wasn't worth changing as they were going to move when their finances improved. At that point she had lived with it 10 years - it was still there 10 years later when she died 😢

There is some degree of truth to this, but it is not as simple as it sounds, by any means!

Lay back, spread out and chill..... - Wu wei wu plus 15:40 "taking action is vital"..... that's a bit confusing you are here to observe (your own life/perspectief also known as) existence. there is no free will, and there is no need for it either :) just flow........

Don't be a loser. Create your own destiny and never let go. Make the inevitable inevitable and let be. May the love and the peace of Jesus be with us.

I suggest you a video. Watch this short video for results on intelligence and the self that even philosophy and psychology professors haven't achieved yet. The name of the video is WHAT IS TABULA RASA? WHAT IS IQ INTELLIGENCE? WHAT IS THE CORRELATION BETWEEN THEM?
