One of the most thoroughly learned European ladies...

My only issue with this is you have described her influencers rather than straight forward describe her stance In philosophy. or what she represents as an addition to the philosophical world. this only gave me an in site to the extent of previous philosophers influence rather that what she believes or stands for. in essence was a waste in description. do fill a discrition of plato with Aristotle no you may say he was in influence and move on to plato and his particular beliefs. say what you intend to describe and not what proceeds it

What exactly did she contribute to philosophy?

What didn't she contribute, my gosh. She wrote about the political structure of the city she lived in and visited. She heavily criticized the government of most of Europe, she was very angry at people in power because of the wars going on during the time she was writing. She would always try to break barriers when it came to women and because of this, she began writing in a feministic approach and began to spread her ideas throughout most of Europe. She did not use a psudenym like most women did during that time, she was brave enough to put her real name on her publications and because of this she was heavily scrutinized and was under heavy fire because of it. She wrote about mostly political but a number of her publications included a number of topics ranging from the scientific revolution to natural philosophy. Hope this helps.

@@taquitobandito6054 Nice reply! She also invented the basis of the contemporary posthuman theory and the zoe concept. If you'd read works like by Rosi Braidotti, you'd recognize Cavendish's views in so many instances.

I really enjoyed your video. I am interested in the software that you use to produce the apparent hand written script. I have seen other authors from Duke use the same software on different subjects. Is this software available to the public? Any information you could give would be much appreciated. Thank You !

The portrait representing William Cavendish look like William Shakespeare. I was right about the William part which is ironic
