It is still a puzzle for historians as to why and how the entire Roman Empire converted to Christianity which was less than ten percent of the population at the time of the Emperor Constantine. He had many other options, even Buddhism being one of them. That's a mystery. Perpetua and Felicita are earliest Christian martyrs (ප්රාණපරිත්යාගවරු) whom we honor as "saints" today.
