If you study other religions, all of them started with an angel speaking to a man. I always quote a scripture when teaching my children about other religions and how we know they are not the way.

I have seen angels a couple of times. & I saw demons once. I can attest to one fact, fear was my initial reaction. But I immediately remind myself that Christ is over all & he is in me, & my spirit is calmed. Do not focus on angels or demons, like some who worship them. The angels won't receive the worship. Also you should know from the old testament that the pagan gods who the other nations worshipped are demons. Baal, Moloch & such. It breaks the Lord's heart when we cheat on him with other gods. It's unfaithfulness & you can't enter the Kingdom of God until you renounce any other worship. Glorify the Lord alone.
