Jase's son sets up a scheme to finagle his family's way onto a swanky Montana golf course. Jase learns whether or not bear spray really works and has a hilarious 30th anniversary incident that Missy does NOT want to tell the kids about. Phil and his family perform 70 baptisms in two weeks, and he hears from the media that his new book, "Jesus Politics," has broken a taboo. Al reveals why the "Unashamed" podcast has a new name. And the guys discuss out-of-control wolves and Jesus the shepherd.

Than do it and stick to it. The act of being dunked under water does not itself bring any change to a person. Case in point people bathe themselves, or at least most people bath themselves regularly, but no change takes place in their hearts and minds. If you are just desiring accountability, then find some people who you Trust and ask them to hold you accountable. If you wait on others to make the changes you know you desire to make, then you are yielding control of your life to others and that is not good ever.

Thank you for your show. I watch it on KZbin. I live in Las Vegas. I'm a retired teacher and before I began that career I was a full-time mom to 7 children and now 17 grandchildren. I was raised in South Louisiana bayou country outside of New Orleans but had relatives in North Louisiana that you remind me of. I appreciate your spirituality. My grandma took me to Mid-City Baptist church in New Orleans, then later my new stepmother sent me ro Catholic church. Then at 19 I married into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I very much enjoy your Bible studies with side stories. Your stories are entertaining; reminds me of my grandma's country relatives when I was very young. Hunting, fishing, swamps, food, old time morals, and that familiar accent. I just recently discovered you and glad I did.. Thanks again.

To Jase's (and others') concerns about wolves -- there is a theory (some would call it a fact based on studies) that re-introducing wolves into Yellowstone had a significant positive impact on wildlife and nature and makes for a much more natural/sustainable habitat. Here's an abbreviated video (you've probably already seen) that introduced that idea. I don't know how much truth there is to it -- but it seems plausible and is worth thinking about. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmnRqnyvhb-sbJo -- Now, I would agree with y'all, that mankind is set to "rule" over wildlife -- responsibly (and the word responsibly is the difficult concept for people to agree on). We are appointed caretakers of His creation.

For those concerned with raising livestock and safeguarding against the wolves being released: You need to come to grips with the fact and Truth that God never intended man to eat the animals and by hoarding the wolves dietary goals, you effectively made a wolf honey pot. The issue is not that God's creation is doing what is was commanded to do, but rather that man is not abiding by the principles that govern God's creation. If someone was taking everything you need to survive and hoarding it, you would also go to great lengths to obtain that which you need. No offense to anyone's diet, but the Truth is the Truth. Genesis 1:29

Great show, again. The Wolves.. Many States have thinned the Wolves and other critters and ended up with too many deer and other critters that caused an increase in automobile accidents. So, in comes insurance companies and that lobbied Politicians to bring, the Fox, Wolves and Mountain Lions back to thin, the deer and other animals causing the accidents.

You were in my neck of the woods Jase. I live in north central Wyoming. Yellowstone was so much better without the wolves. When Elk, Moose, and Deer have one baby a year, and Wolves have litters it is devastating combo. It’s not that they moved although some have but the actual population of elk have dramatically decreased. My family was raised on Elk and still hunt but it is sad for us to watch. Oh yeah LOVE fly fishing! God bless!
@johnbuelow4739

"Jase", you should have eaten the Trout because you really missed out if you didn't ! They are pretty tasty fish almost like salmon. The best are the little brook trout in my opinion ! Especially when they are fried crisp with onions and fried potatoes, but the fish need to be from 4 to 6 inches long so when you fry them up you can eat them bones and all. Now for the hot subject in Montana, "( WOLVES )". They were forced on us by someone or group I'm not sure but I suspect animal rights jerks. Because they all worship the creature rather than the creator. They bought 59,000,000.00 worth of wolves from the Canadians, which were probably laughing all the way to the bank. Because of this 3 very bad thing are occurring, first is the fact it's not safe to the kids camping anymore because if they should wonder off you may not ever see they again, next Deer & Elk only have 3 offspring but most of the time just one, on the other hand wolves have around 14 to 15 in a litter and so do mountain lions, bears have form 1 to 3 most of the time, so it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do the numbers, and the 3rd thing is when they run out of big game they are going to go after live stock, pets and children, not to mention the fact they will have made the big game extinct in this part of the world. S0 in my opinion your right not to like it. John from Montana.

Jase, your right to be upset about the wolves. We live about 60 miles from Yellowstone . I was raised here and have been to Yellowstone many, many times. I’ve commented on the advertising of Yellowstone. There are NOT the animals that they would like to advertise. I discourage people to go to Yellowstone. The wolves have ruined it. They , the powers that be, didn’t retune the breed of wolves that had been in Yellowstone. This wolf is a Gray wolf or a Canadian wolf. It is a much larger wolf then was originally here. The park is ruined . I was young when we feed the bears from your car, they pushed them back but the wolves can’t be controlled . I can’t tell you how sad that makes me

Their protection from people stealing Phils home from “computer land” is the fact that nobody wants to deal with the environmental factors surrounding Phil’s home that they talk about so frequently

I don't think anyone will actually read this from the Robertson family, but I really want to be baptized by Phil, I've struggled with my Catholic Religion all my life because of the belief of original sin and confession of Sins to another mortal. I have more issues but I just didn't want to hurt my Daddy about this...he's ok with me being a Christian, I should have given him more credit. Does anyone have any info on how I can make this happen?.. God bless 🙏🙏🙏

Hey rosemarie, yea I've been looking into how Catholics are baptized (not fully emerged under water, just water sprinkled over the head) I always thought that was how everyone did it. But a lot of people believe you should be fully dunked under the water. I wonder what the Robertsons thoughts on that is??

@@andreascurls2931 I just dont feel that an infant can repent for sins. Also..i don't believe a newborn has sins. Its not about the amount of water but the meaning behind it...an infant or even a small innocent child has no reason to have sins washed away because they couldn't have committed any, they weren't taught the rules yet...hence the 10 commandments or any of the Bible, they are completely innocent, even if they do something wrong they can't possibly understand what their sin was. Original sin is Adam and Eve, i dont believe babies are born in any sin, even under the worst or strangest of circumstances all children are beautiful and innocent to me. I think Jesus would agree. I think he said so in saying we " must be childlike" in the scriptures.

Wolves being re-introduced to Yellowstone has improved many things. I saw a video about the woods, streams and animals becoming more balanced as the wolves kept wildlife moving around. The streams seem to be the benefactors because animals get a drink and move on. Maybe watch this to be more informed: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qITdgmytarl2p8U

There are many misconceptions around sheep. Mainly this, sheep are unruly animals. They share many similar characteristics with goats, although they are comparably more docile. They will charge and butt. Sheep have been largely misportrayed as soft cuddly animals. If that were True then the shepherd would not deploy dogs to keep them in line. Mind you they have no sharp teeth or claws, but that does not mean they are easy to control. The job of a shepherd is more difficult than it looks, as is often the case with most tasks. Just look at David. People think being a shepherd is for the weak, yet a shepherd took on Goliath and whooped him. Anyways a herd of sheep will easily defend itself without a shepherd watching them. Then simply band together and anyone or any wolves stupid enough to come at the group will get driven back when they advance the herd. A shepherds job is really only to contain the sheep to a relative location for grazing. Another telling clue is that a shepherd always follows his flock, and never leads it. So who is controlling whom? I used to have a sheepdog years ago and their breed instinctively does the same. When I would take him for walks off leash, he would follow and more or less try to herd the humans.

1 John 2:19 settles the debate on whether or not a Christian can lose their salvation. 18 Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us. 20 But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. 21 I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. 24 Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he made to us eternal life. - 1 John 2:18-25
