I'm not a Biblical or religious scholar, but I imagine this podcast represents more closely the origins of Christianity than most modern day churches. Sitting around at table talking about life and the Bible and applying it to modern day concerns is what I imagined folks did in the first couple of hundred years after Jesus was crucified. Standing up on a platform or stage raising your hands over people (asking for money), crying on television (asking for money), or wearing fancy garb and big hats while proclaiming that you speak for Jesus (usually while asking for money) is a huge turnoff. These types of honest discussions are far more interesting and useful. There's still a need for congregation, of course, but it seems that it would be best if those things are done in the spirit of fellowship, and not in some strict hierarchical order where clergy feel "empowered" rather than being of service. That's something I've noticed about the Robertsons over the years. There's no pretense, no grandiosity, and no sense that they're preaching "at" you. I enjoy this podcast, and I'll recommend it.

As I was listening to your show while driving to see a client, I actually picked up my phone to call and get in on the conversation about teens and technology. Of course I remembered that this isn't a call in show. I help families with children that have behavioral issues. God put me on this path and it can be frustrating and technology is ONE of the biggest issues I've had to deal with. Something that kids don't think about or realize is that if they are sending and receiving pictures of "body parts" theirs or other under age children, its still considered child porn and they can get a charge for it. I love your show and thank God for your wisdom.

My first season archery hunting I couldn’t get a doe close to me. Inside of 30 yards. Couple does we’re out passed 50. Shot way over them. And here they come running rite toward me! That was my first doe with a bow story! Haha Cool to see other guys practice that in other hunting scenarios

The Biblical Prophets came before Christ Jesus; but since Jesus believers become Saints and we can spread the Word of God. Actual Prophets who God speaks through are not needed since the Apostles gave us His Word. We carry on His discipleship.

Therefore, God speaks "through" us, them, all who proclaim God's Word. Definitions, and Terms are very important to me. @@alexharmon9775 Yes, God's Word that is in the Bible. That is what I said. Before King David, God used men like Samuel to speak to men. But, now He speaks through His Word, the Bible, and in that sense we are being used as prophets to proclaim God's Word. If what a so-called prophet speaks does not conform to the Bible, then he is a false prophet. We are commanded by God to disciple His Saints and spread His Word.

As a woman, I grew up a hugger. Still thankful for the brother-in-Christ who taught me the "head hug"! Can't even do that now, or shake hands. I'm glad I don't do cell phones. We are on the www. My youngest is 19 (what a first pres. vote!). He's feeling his first year out of high school. I'm praying for these kids. This whole thing stinks!
