I wanted to hear this song again as sung by Elise! I love the original by Billy Joel. It's actually my favorite of his and I first heard it in the movie '13 Going on 30'. I fell in love with it then, but Elise definitely does the song justice!

She has talent and chops, but her treatment of this song is so overblown. The growls and arena-ballad treatment of this song do not mesh with the message of the song.

Here I am, picking on a 3 year old comment... but we'll have to agree to disagree. You perceive a certain 'message' of the song, and are certainly entitled to your opinion. But the 'message' I get has more to do with the mechanics of the song structure, and I thought her delivery absolutely rocked it. BJ's original is- and always will be defining, but this was one of my favorite AI performances ever.
