Lyrics: Oh how I long to see the end of every ending To breathe before my last and begin beginning Would You catch the wind with Your arm? Or lift my oceans with a heave? All hell sound your sirens Hold Your breath for three words conceived: It is finished Walking down the streets I watch You turn Your face from me They ripped the skin from my back dissecting eternity You clothed me in darkness given a rose but wearing the thorns instead My last breath I watch God hang His robes over the sun To hide a child becoming corruption Clean hands Eternity nailed to a tree How tired You must have been Clean hands From a garden to misery Bearing the weight of men Yet You raise Yourself higher to take Your last breath Demons pause with terror I am blood enough to never run dry still You despise me Sinking the spear in my side when You hung beside me on that day Cursing at the wind will not stop the message I send Clean hands Eternity nailed to a tree How tired You must have been Clean hands From a garden to misery Bearing the weight of men Yet You raise Yourself higher to take Your last breath (Bear witness once and for all) It is finished Would You catch the wind with Your arm? Or lift my oceans with a heave? All hell sound Your sirens Hold Your breath for three words conceived

I attended BIOLA university with the members of Phinehas. I would go to their shows they would put on behind the dorms, and rock out all night long. They would put on more shows at local churches with their peers, and I would be there. I even interviewed the band, and wrote up an article for the BIOLA's newspaper. I was friends with their former drummer, Lee, and he even let me interview him when I had my own radio show for the university. Such cool dudes!

I didn't get to know them that way but I saw them for the first time at Creation Fest Northeast back in 2015, I got to chat with them and get a pic with the band. Then, a week later, my family and I went to see them again and they all recognized me despite only really hanging out for a few minutes at Creation. At every show since then, Sean and Lee both recognized me any time I was there. It honestly meant a lot that they made some random fan feel like we had been friends for years, they're very cool dudes!

What I wouldn't give to be at one of those shows again! That original line up put on such a fun show. I remember the bassist would be ruing around and jumping off everything he could, and Glenn and Scotty were just such cool guitarists! Haha I grew up in the area and played a bunch of shows with them. Man, I miss those days! Happy to see them at this level!

Phinehas is my absolute favorite metalcore band of all time! Extremely deep, theologically-centered lyrics with creative, artistic and melodic songwriting. You can't go wrong with them haha As for me, I have a slightly opposite opinion from Gage, I find Thegodmachine to be their best (with Dark Flag, their most recent one, a close second) because it has a very artistic and progressive flow to it. Grace Disguised By Darkness all the way through to the final track, That I May Love You, feels like they wrote it all as one song and split it into several different tracks, akin to what a lot of progressive rock and metal bands do. Meanwhile, Till the End -- while still an awesome album -- is my least favorite of theirs. But hey, that's opinions for ya!

I’m going to Regent university so there’s a lot of Christian theology to go through and these videos have actually helped lol. It’s funny you said you hate to call this Sunday “Easter” due to the pagan background it has and called it resurrection day because I said the exact same thing this morning to friends/family. Going to leave my Architects Royal Beggars suggestion here again lol. Have a blessed day! 😀

So awesome, so metal. Biblical imagery is so much better than what the classics lumbered us with. I know some people love the kj and nkj, (and for poetry it is nice) but I think people need to get an niv or net to easily understand what is written, and also an expanded bible with an internal concordance.

Pastor Robert . We spoke before about my son ,and his girlfriend ( Courtney)who is fighting brain cancer cause by NF ( not the rap artist ) ,Neurofibromatosis. While fighting it she got covid-19. She is doing better now , still not completely out of rough waters. He had previously written a song about her . His real name is Kurt Blair , his artist name is BL4RE , the song he wrote for her is called VIBE off of his album GROWTH . He also has a song on that album called WINGS that he wrote from the perspective of his aunt who passed away from cancer around this time last year . Could you do a reaction video to either of them . It would mean alot to me , and I know it would for him as well . God bless , and thank you .

I've got an interesting, in my opinion, music video for you to react to, Dimmu Borgir: Gateways (live - forces of the northern night), it's Symphonic Black Metal, and by black metal standards doesn't sound like it's recorded on a rotary phone in a basement in Norway in the 1980s and isn't inherently about Satan, also in my opinion it's thought-provoking lyrics and sounds pleasing to the ears and will be an interesting reaction from a Christian perspective as I haven't seen many Christians react to it but it is very popular with 4.8 million views I just was wondering what your p,erspective on it would be. Plus you can also check that off your list of music genres also.
