25 years ago.. I had seen Phish a handful of times at this point beginning 10/31/95. My buddy just texted me.. "I made a lot of bad decisions in my life, but dumping my EX to go to this show was not one of them!" It was the same night as a high school dance.

My phirst show Freshmen year mom wouldnt let me go to a phish show but she'd let me to something called "Farm Aid"- me and two friends bought a quarter for 60 dollars beforehand and at the time it was the most amount of money Id ever considered for weed. I was on mushrooms and asked a guy smoking a cigarette if I could use his lighter to spark a joint then realized it was Security guard

To this day CMT has never been the same after all the viewers became Phish and Neil fans.

This is missing the hosts (I think it was the blonde and friend that say goodnight at the end of the video) that were thrown for a loop at the end of the Down by the River jam. You could tell on their faces they were at a major turning point in their life, and they gave me a quote I use to this day, "That was a jam, jelly, and a smear of peanut butter."

@@Gravy65 I like that quote, my mom use to say funny little country things like that.
