The traffic jam was crazy. We were in an RV and we had a bike with us. I rode the bike as far as I could and still saw a huge line that wasn't getting and smaller. People were going to the bathroom on the side of the road in a ditch area. When I rode the bike back to the RV, the people releaving themselves asked what was going on up there. I said someone peeing got bit by an alligator. So many people started running out of the ditch. It was hilarious.

It was amazing. The whole event was amazing. They played a show the same afternoon. Then took a break. Said everyone come on. Back atound 1130. It was a transcendent experience. It was the opposite of Woodstock 99. No police. A sovereign state(indian reservation). And 100,000 people in the middle of nowhere all got along, loved each other, and got as wild as we wanted( and we got wild). Everyone was tripping or on mdma..or both. One of the coolest things was the stage was in a cow pasture. Phish had the event. Played 4 shows. And with 1 day in between the midnight show, the pasture was spotless. As was the campground..we all picked up our trash, threw it away, or packed it out. They put the cows out in the field the day after the show. As the show was ending, the sun was barely starting to peek out of early morning clouds. It was a pink sky. The earth had cooled off. Everyone their felt emotionally fulfilled. Again. It was amazing. Highlight of my musical journeys. And if you think 8 hours is amazing, phish played what they called their "bakers dozen". 13 nights in a row at Madison Square Garden-without repeating 1 song. Think about that.

Phunny, everytime I think of Big Cypress, one word comes to mind. But you have to say it like your PISSED TF OFF!!!!! Anyone know what that word is? Turn of the century and the only thing 100,000 people can say, is... CHEESECAKE CHEESECAKE CHEESECAKE!!!!!! In Jerry's words, NEVER HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME, IN MY LIFE BEFORE, I'D LIKE TO HAVE IT ONE TIME MORE...but maybe on their 50 yr Birthday IN PHLORIDA AGAIN!!!!
