Just got home from Denver about an hour ago. What a weekend! My first Dicks. Sunday was my 25th show. Finally got an Icculus!!!! To all the new friends I made this past weekend and the old ones I ran into as well! THANK YOU FOR A REAL GOOD TIME! the phish from vermont are pretty fuckin cool.

Maybe one day they will slow build piper again, i have seen this song like 30x in 3.0 and never slow build.. so disheartening, was one of my fav things they did! The patience they executed in "Whats the Use?" on this run should come into fold on this song, the slow patience that was shown in old pipers created such strong moments! The slow build IS THE SONG, once they start the vocals the song is essentially over, its pre-mature ejaculation! --- Signed a Phish lover and a fluffer, heady jams tho from this song, guess thats what we are in for anyways

It was quintessential Phish, a hurricane frenzy of energy and sound unlike anything I’d ever heard. 7/8/00 is the perfect Piper composition IMO. The jam is meh but the song is just perfect

I noticed that happening at spac too. He definitely said something into the mic that didn't come thru. In Dopapod the drummer and bass player are micd but it only goes to their in ear monitors. They use it to turn jams on a dime. Maybe Trey can direct it to just the monitors. Thought they didn't use in ear but guess they are?
