oooo. bass lesson. NICE. every guitar player should know how to play bass. and it's not just a guitar with a 4 strings. VERY DIFFERENT APPROACH. Very different instrument.

Well said, Mr. Petti, I couldn’t have put it better. Learning bass is not only fun if you play music you love, but it will make you a better guitar player as well
@masonk98385 жыл бұрын
Couldn't agree more. I would also say every bassist should know how to play guitar, being able to recognize chords on sight is extremely helpful, and learning to think like a guitarist helps you to play basslines that support and contrast with a guitarist.

Thanks a bunch, man! Would love to get a bass lesson on some groove-based jams, like 7/24/99 Fluffhead, or 11/22/97 Tweezer, or anything else you can think of.

Hey man, Love the video... Just a suggestion though, throughout this entire tutorial i **reeally** wanted to hear what these licks sounded like "in context" with the rest of the Music so i could hear where/how they fit in exactly... Just a thought, great job though, keep rockin'! :)

Thank you so much for this! Would love more bass lesson videos. Do you have any advise on getting the 7 - 0 and 5 - 0 pulloffs to have the second note (i.e. the D and G) to be audible?
@amarguitar6 жыл бұрын
Hey Yoni, when you do the pull offs on those open strings, it helps to pull downwards and off rather than just pulling off. When you pull off downwards, you get more momentum and the open string will sound out much more clearly

Hey, please put a 20hz 12db/oct High pass filter on your audio before you upload. You've got weird clunks in the audio that is driving my sub crazy trying to reproduce
