I'm a fan of Nick's since he played in the 2002 National Championship game as a true freshman. I'm a fan of Trey's since I first heard Lawn Boy somewhere around 1992. This feature is awesome.

Phish makes really complex music, and there are many songs with weird rhythmic patterns where the audience has to yell on certain beats and stuff like that, but I'm yet to see anybody lose the beat. Most Phish fans are music nerds who like to analyze every song and whether the jams are "Type I jams" meaning they stick to the original key, don't get too far out there and "Type II jams" meaning the longer extended jams that tend to switch to unusual keys, etc and tons of Phish fans are musicians so I don't understand the purpose of randomly making something like this up. It's only funny if it's at least kind of rooted in reality. What kind of people do you really think passionately obsess over music that commonly features 25-30+ minute long songs that range from anywhere from rock to blues to jazz to acapella with incredibly complex composed sections, long sections of complex jamming, etc? Music nerds obviously.
