just got home from albany. first uncle penn since 2000! and it was fucking flawless! the band destroyed for 2 nights and left albany in ruins! crazy crazy momentum going into next weeks msg shows. cant wait!

i think trey could still pull it off but it is odd they didnt bust out any of the bluegrass stuff on this last tour...uncle penn, ginseng, old home place...etc. that being said, i saw maybe my 3rd greatest phish show in 14 yrs in hartford last month. so go figure.

just listened to the albany show again and the intro is far from "flawless." its actually pretty mangled, but trey rights himself quickly and its still a tight version.
