I love MM but he'll have to improve his skating to be compared to the Russian rocket. Id say he's closer to Kucherov or Panarin but I will admit he does have the dangle skills of a Bure.

He reminds me a lot of Simon Gagne tbh. Might be a step slower and bit more creative but I get those vibes. Scores in close, looks hungry, not shy of getting spicy in the corners/in front of the net. His shot doesn’t have the most juice but he puts it exactly where it needs to go. Haven’t seen anybody make the comparison but that’s what I see
