There's an unrelated bug, but it's in current bedrock console versions where if your scrollable inventory at the bottom of the screen is full, minus the third slot counting from the right. You can press (Y) to quick craft the item and move it, it just eats the input, crafts it for half a second and stops.

When playing in singleplayer, the game hosts a server and joins it, and I think that's why publishing to LAN is so quick. The difference is that when you pause the game, the server also pauses so that it feels like a real single player. That's also why you could kick and ban in multiplayer, and when you enable the "enable cheats" option, it just OPs you. There was a functionality that tilted the camera towards the damage source when being hit, and it stopped working when this "singleplayer server" was introduced.

This happens for the same reason as fly-kicking back in the day; Minecraft Java ALWAYS runs worlds in a server. This is also why small Multiplayer worlds tend to run better than Singleplayer.

The reason of that is they developed minecraft to be working as a server, so single player mode is in fact a server, even if it's local and for one player, it still works as a regular server, that's why when you open to LAN, what you're doing is just open a port to allow traffic, I remember that someone who is very good at developing things in Minecraft (mods, plugins, etc) told that it was made that way to work with just one game mode (servers) instead of developing two game modes, and also to be able to open your single player world with ease. So every single change they made to multiplayer servers, is also applied to single player worlds, including rules of spamming.

You can also get “ping lag” on single player and it can disconnect you to the multiplayer menu

Actually you can spam even faster in chat using the bed itself. If you sleep in it and press an input at the same time as pressing enter and hold those, it will start spamming at a lightning speed. You can probably get kicked from any server like this, but I am not sure about singleplayer with commands on.

Reminds of the time my Alexa leaked some things. I was going to make an auditory meme about cliff racers to send to some friends and said "Alexa what game are Cliff Racers from?". I genuinely thought that it was common knowledge everyone knew you could get kicked for spam in singleplayer known since i started playing in like 2014😭😭😭

this was actually a bug that was discovered way back then before 1.12 and it does this cuz minecraft runs an internal server where ur playing on. so basically minecraft runs a server that is a private port that your client can only access. thats why "Open to LAN" exists and will turn on the port.
